With the advent of Microsoft's Combat Flight Simulator, I decided to create the same functionality of Control 98 for this new simulator. I have based the foundation on the FREEWARE version of Control 98 (Authors Edition). This Combat Flight Sim utility will be known as: Control 2000.
The development fully integrates both CFS and FS98 aircraft, panels, sounds and textures into the one platform and allows the sharing of these aspects in either program.

What can you expect from Control 2000
Control 2000 fully integrates Aircraft, Panels, Sound Files between FS2000, Combat Flight Sim and FS98 - panels and sounds can be used from either Simulator.
Control 2000 allows you to import and export aircraft between both simulators with the click of a button.
Control 2000 has been radically redeveloped and enhanced to cover both flight simulators.
Control 2000 allows the texture editing of both flight simulator formats.
Control 2000 will be fully documented - this will take some considerable time but the effort will make it a lot easier for all users.
Control 2000 is capable of archiving and retrieving aircraft in either simulator. This provides the ability to hide aircraft from the simulators when not needed but they can be recovered by a simple click of a button.
Control 2000 allows the editing of all config (.cfg) files in both simulators.
