Control 2000 Millennium Edition is a utility developed for the management of Microsoft Flight Sim 2000, Combat Flight Sim and Flight Sim 98 aircraft, panels, sounds, textures and the multitude of configuration files used in each of the three simulators.

Control 2000 Millennium Edition has many outstanding features to assist you in this environment. Below are listed just some of the functions which will enhance your flight sim enjoyment:

(1) Transfer aircraft between simulators.

This feature allows you to select aircraft from any of the simulator and move a copy of the relevant files required to the other simulator. Ready to fly.

(2) Assign panels and sound files to aircraft in any simulator.

This feature allows you to assign a Combat Flight Sim panel or sound to a Flight Sim 98 aircraft or if you like Flight Sim panels and sounds to Combat Flight Sim aircraft. Now including features for all three simulators including Flight Sim 2000.

(3) The ability to edit aircraft and scenery texture files. !AF, BMP and R8

There are several methods implemented into Control 2000 which allow you access to the various texture files without complex conversions. Direct access is available to your preferred paint program from within the application.

(4) Execution of Flight Sim 2000, Combat Flight Sim and Flight Sim 98 from within the Application.

(5) Ability to View and Edit all of the aircraft, panel, sound and other texture files related to the configuration and management of the aircraft and environment.

(6) For Flight Sim 98 – the ability to launch selected situations directly from the application.

Requirements:

Screen resolution required is 1024x768x16 million colours
Control 2000 has been developed in Microsoft Access 2000 and Microsoft Visual Basic 5

Full Access 2000 runtime software included on the CD

Or have Access 2000 and VB5 or the VB5 runtime software.

Or have Access 97 and VB5 or the VB5 runtime software.

VB5 Freeware runtime also included on the CD.

Zipping the files did not make sufficient difference to warrant their conversion.

You will find some exciting graphical presentations (starting at page 7) of many of the forms and functions that are available in the new release which I think will be of great benefit to all the Flight Simmers out there.
