This is a listing of some of the many forms and ways of
managing the Control 98 environment. Click on an Image to view it in full
size. (be careful some are BIG) - all of these forms are also in the
Control 98 Authors Edition but
have been greatly enhanced and in many cases added features have been applied.
 |
The main control Panel which allows access to
Aircraft management, Panel management, Texture editor, Update Data, Flight
Sim 98 and several quick access and management forms. |
 |
This is the main aircraft form - the features
available on this form is the ability to transform the texture files
associated with the aircraft into BMP format which may be edited and
converted back to Texture format. |
 |
This form is the main controller for editing
the features of an aircraft. Panels can be select using visual
references (pictures of panels). Sound can be selected using
detailed listings of sounds attributed to aircraft. Also
NOTEPAD is implemented to edit each of the text files associated with any
aircraft. |
 |
This form allows the conversion and editing
of the hundreds of scenery texture files associated with Flight Simulator
98. Microsoft also placed the texture files for it’s
aircraft in this area. |
 |
This is the main form for the data conversion
into access. The functions convert firstly the directories into text
files. Then the three main phases convert the Aircraft, Panels and
Sound, Texture files into meaningful Access data structures. The final
phase loads the data into Access 97 tables for management within Access
97. |
 |
From this form you can edit the texture files
for the Aircraft. Some are intentionally blank and have a
screen displaying this. I have included a Palette for Paint Shop Pro
in the Zip file for those who wish to experiment with colours and palettes
but need to recover back to the original pallet |

of any of those images |
 |
This is one of several quick reference forms
which allow you to list aircraft with their panels/sounds etc and quickly
go to the main editor for that aircraft. |
